The Big Latch On – Breast Feeding Awareness Event
On Saturday August 6th 2011 at 10:30am nursing mothers and their babies, across the USA and beyond, will gather to celebrate World Breastfeeding Week and to take part in The Big Latch On, America’s first synchronized nursing event in multiple locations. The goal of the event is to promote breastfeeding awareness and education. Tidal Creek is proud to support our local community groups in their efforts, and to be hosting the Wilmington area event at the Tidal Creek Community Center. Annual Owner Stew at Jones Family Farm
All active owners of Tidal Creek Co-op are welcome to attend this annual meeting, communal meal, and celebration of local farming and community. There will be fun activities including live music by Raphael Namé, a corn maze and earthen slides, and hayride tours of the Jones Family Farm.
