Join Tidal Creek Co-op for a guided tour of Black River Organic Farm. Explore the fields and greenhouses with Stefan and the crew, and find out more about where your food is grown. Please join us for our Co-op Owner Store Tour, created to help answer your questions and welcome you to Tidal Creek Co-op.  The session will include a brief orientation and overview of Co-op basics, including Tidal Creek owner benefits, a quick store tour, and tips on how to shop and save at the Co-op.  Open to all current owners and those who want to learn more about ownership at Tidal Creek Co-op. Kevin Gillespie, celebrity chef from the Woodfire Grill in Atlanta and sixth season Top Chef finalist, has been traveling around the country exploring farm fields and co-op grocery aisles as part of this year’s celebration of the United Nations International Year of Cooperatives. The 2012 International Year of Cooperatives presents a great opportunity for food co-ops nationwide to shine the spotlight on the role co-ops and delicious food play in bringing communities together. New videos from the thirteen-episode series, featuring co-ops from Vermont to California, will be released online every other Monday from February 6th through mid-June at www.strongertogether.coop.
