For more than 30 years, Tidal Creek Co-op has been Wilmington’s community owned natural grocery store. From our humble beginnings as a buying club, now over 3000 owners can say they own the Co-op!

At Tidal Creek Co-op, we care about community and the foods we eat.  Our products are free of harmful and artificial ingredients. We actively seek and promote local and organically grown products that support health and well-being.

Support a cooperatively owned and operated, not-for-profit business: All owners are part owners of Tidal Creek Co-op. Being cooperatively owned means there is no one person at the top of our company making a profit; instead, any monies taken in above operating costs are re-invested in the store.

Have a voice and an investment in the store: Democratic control means that all owners (over the age of 18) can vote. Owners have input in product selection and important Co-op issues. All owners are welcome to attend our monthly board meetings and can also vote and serve on the Board of Directors.

Owner Savings --   Co-op owners save everyday on items on our owner savings list: over 120 products at an average of 20% off.

Patronage Refund Program --   At the end of the fiscal year, if earnings are sufficient, the Board can refund co-op owners based on purchases.

Wild Card Discount –    The Wild Card is a 5% discount coupon that co-op owners can use once every two months.

Owner Appreciation Weekends –    Twice a year, owners can save 10% on items in the store all weekend long.

Special Order Case Discount –    Owners receive a 10% discount on items ordered by the case.

Co-op Currents Newsletter --   We send our owners a bi-monthly newsletter with updates on the co-op, event information, recipes and book reviews. This is also where you will find your Wild Card Coupon.

Owner Volunteer Program --   Co-op owners can earn discounts by volunteering at the co-op and community outreach events.
