Yes, I think it has been for 8 years now
What unique skills or perspective do you feel you would bring to the Board?
I have a good understanding of support process because of my sitting on the board for such a long time and the issues that are facing the co-op. I feel like I have good skills in collaboration and consents his building.
What is your reason or motivation to run for the Board of Directors?
I love the co-op and all that stands for. It is an Oasis in Wilmington they provides things that are unique to this area. I want to see if continue to try and excel all expectations. I believe that this is possible with the right leadership and careful planning.
What makes Tidal Creek Coop Important to you?
The same answer as for #6.
Are you able to donate the time necessary to be an effective Board member?
Absolutely
What else would you like Tidal Creek Co-op Owners to know about you?
I have been a member of the co-op for 17 years and, prior to moving to Wilmington in 1997, was a member in my previous community. I believe in the co-op principles, supporting local farmers, buying a local, protecting the environment and eating healthy. For me, the co-op and body is all these principles.
