2. ValentineÕs Day Cruise
Few things can compete with a nice, romantic dinner cruise under a starlit night! Run by Cape Fear Riverboats, itÕs a cute date idea that is unique to our waterfront downtown community. When you step on the cruise boat, you will be escorted to your own table where you and your significant other will be treated to the CaptainÕs Buffet. The two and a half hour cruise starts at 6:30 PM till 9:00 PM, so you will have plenty of time to enjoy the evening while you cruise along the Cape Fear River.
3. Have an Outdoor Picnic
The outdoor picnic is a timeless DIY date idea that never fails to impress. Normally February wonÕt qualify as a picnic month, but the warmer southern weather actually provides you with a great opportunity to snuggle up outdoors this time of the year as the temperature usually hovers at a crisp 40 degrees. The important thing to remember with enjoying the simpler things in life is that you are only limited by your imagination regarding how special you can make them!
