What exactly is Community Supported Agriculture?
Community Supported Agriculture is a great way for members of the local community to support local farmers and understand where their food comes from. By paying a regular membership or subscription fee, local residents help the farmers sustain production and benefit from receiving produce on a regular basis in return.
CSAs are great because not do they keep farmers in regular income, but they also build ties between the local community and the farmers who are best placed to serve them with the freshest possible ingredients.
